The ISWS serves as an intellectual hub for the academic, postgraduate and practitioner community at the University of St Andrews. There are a number of ways in which scholars, students and practitioners can become involved in the work of the Institute:
- Through attendance at workshops, seminars and conferences that bring high-level speakers to St Andrews. The majority of our events are open to everyone. If spaces are limited or sessions are closed, please use the sign up option in the events calendar.
- By applying to become a Visiting Research Fellow.
- By applying for admission to the M.Litt in Strategic Studies or for admission to the PhD programme:
PhD in International Relations
Postgraduate Study in the School of History
Philosophy at St Andrews
- For practitioners and stakeholders specifically: by requesting the ISWS to host a study day or a problem-oriented retreat involving members of our faculty. If you would like to discuss options, costs and formats for study days and retreats, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
